On 20 July 2011 I filed a complaint for nonperformance of the Institute. I simultaneously posted it on this website and on Linkedin. On 2 August Michael Forbes Smith, Director General, assured me that he was taking it "seriously". He then remained silent. After more than ten weeks, on 30 September I sent my complaint directly to various CIArb officers including its Chairman, Doug Jones, and re-posted it on Linkedin.
